Afghanistan

To be honest I really don’t know much about Afghanistan. I wish I did after reading those letters we received today but I didn’t. After reading those letters it made me realize that there are many people out there sacrificing there own lives to help others out. I think this should be noticed by more people but not that many people know why they are gone, why they are fighting or even what they are fighting about. After reading this letter it made me think that the people that are gone to Afghanistan aren’t there because they have to be there, but they are there because they want to make a difference by helping others out. The girl in the letter who was a solider was so confident and didn’t complain about what was happening. She says, “The longer that we are in the theatre and the more that we actually interact with the Afghan people, the more I feel that we are serving a purpose here,” I feel that if she is happy to be there because there is a purpose to why she is there and that is that she is wanting to help the people out. Even though she knows people are dying there she still wants to be there to help out. She is very optimistic. “With the best of intentions, we have started in Afghanistan. There is nowhere where else I’d rather be right now.”

A Girl's Story

Then they kissed a first gentle kiss with her lips barely brushing and without touching each other. Linda pushes him back away from her with her eyes wide open not knowing why she just kissed him. She was so confused not knowing what to do, all she could do was think about Greg and how she feels about him. She knew she loved him but now she had some feelings for Michael. Linda ran home crying without realizing what she had just done. Michal who also was shocked about what just happened was still at the river wondering what happened and why Linda ran away from him. He thought that something was wrong with him but not realizing that she still had feelings for Greg. When Linda got home she thought hard about who she wanted to be with and then finally she made her decision. She goes back to the river a couple of weekends later hoping that Michael would be there. There she see him, she runs to him like it has been years since she's seen him. As soon as she reaches him she says “I love u Michael, and I want to be with u forever," and Michael so happy to hear that she loved him to as much as he loved her, hugged her like there was no tomorrow. After a couple of months they get married and bought a house of their own.

What to blog about?

Blogs should be used for writing down any ideas that you feel that everyone should know about. It's a way of expressing yourself and telling others how you feel about a certain topic. It's also great way to be creative. We should try to write blogs at least once a week on a different topics that interest most people, if someone is not that interested in that topic they should be able to write about something else similar to it though. Some of the topics could be on music, the latest movies, sports, something interesting in the news paper, or have a day that you can write about anything that you wish to but we also should be given topics that are for marks and have some where we just write for fun. We should be marked on how creative our writing is and once in awhile when we are given a topic, we should be marked on the six point scale since that's how we are going to get marked on the provincial exam. It gives us an idea where we stand on the six point scale and also if we are improving our writing skills or not. It gives us a chance to see what kind of mistakes we are making and giving us a chance to improve for our next in class essay write up.

Superpower

If I had any superpower I would have “Time Manipulation.” I chose this power because then I have the ability to either slow down, speed up or even stop time. This would be a good super power because if I was having a bad day I could speed up time to see what else is going to happen throughout that day or even move on to the next day. If I was having a good day and i didnt want to end that day I would have the powers to slow down time or even stop time. It would be a really good super power to see your future as well someone elses future. It also gives me a chance to go back into time and see all the things I did while I was a kid.
